John Jawad was a dear man and will be tremendously missed by myself and all of the St. Pierre family.
John was such a good friend to all of us and my father especially was so thankful to have John in his life.
My heart goes out to John's family and know that my dad has certainly welcomed him home in Heaven.

Clayton has never been the same without John and the beloved Pioneer Inn--it was our "Cheers." Here's to fond memories and the good 'ole days. Patty Nelson (Clayton)

The memories I share with John were very special. He was always there if you needed him. He was like a father to me. I know he is at peace because of all his kindness and how much he cared. He would have given you his last dime to you if need be. He was a great listener. I loved when he laughed. He loved life, golf. He was a great golfer even at 80 sum years old, he won the Dupont golf tournament in Myrtle Beach. For all the family that would like a copy of the paper he was in. Let me know and I will send you a copy. Love to all the family, we will all miss him terribly. My prayers go to all of you. Just remember he is still with us in our hearts. One other memory I share with him is when I came out to California for my class reunion in 1996, He and I got together and found the baby I had died in 1965, in the graveyard in Lafayette. That was very tender moment for both of us. Thank you dad, for being in my life. Love, Lynn and the grands Julie and Skip and their Children, Joshua Michael Jawad, Veda Naylie Jawad, Taylor Madison Lynn Temple, Olivia Carolina Fortner, and Carrrington Elizabeth Fortner. We all love you forever and will all miss you.
